Transparent PNG overlays are a simple way to add texture, detail, and visual interest to your designs without having to create the texture yourself. Because the background is transparent, you can layer the PNG directly over your artwork and combine it with colors, patterns, photos, illustrations, and other design elements.
A few ways to use them:
- Add texture to backgrounds — Place an overlay over a solid color, gradient, or pattern to create a more interesting surface.
- Create wall art — Layer overlays with typography, illustrations, photographs, or other graphics to create unique artwork.
- Sublimation & apparel designs — Use overlays to add distressed, grungy, vintage, or artistic texture to your designs.
