How to Use Your Printable Backgrounds

These backgrounds are sized to print easily on standard 8.5″ x 11″ letter-size paper using your home printer.

  1. Download the JPG file and open it in your preferred photo viewer or printing program.
  2. Load 8.5″ x 11″ paper into your printer. Regular copy paper works, but cardstock or matte presentation paper will give you a nicer, sturdier finish.
  3. Check your print settings. Select Letter (8.5″ x 11″) as the paper size and choose Actual Size or 100% scale to preserve the original dimensions. If your printer requires margins, you may see a small unprinted border around the edges.
  4. Choose your print quality. Standard or High Quality will usually give you the best results, depending on your printer and paper.

Use your printed backgrounds for junk journals, scrapbooking, handmade cards, collage, stationery, art journaling, and all sorts of creative paper projects!

A little tip: Printer settings and paper types can affect the final appearance, especially with black-and-white designs. Try a test print first and adjust the print quality or darkness to get the look you want.
