🛠️How to Install Photoshop Custom Shapes (.CSH)
Installing a .CSH custom shape file in Photoshop is quick and easy:
- Download and unzip the file if it comes in a ZIP folder.
- Open Adobe Photoshop.
- Select the Custom Shape Tool from the toolbar. It may be grouped with the Rectangle, Ellipse, or other Shape tools.
- In the top Options bar, click the Shape preview/dropdown.
- Click the gear icon or menu in the Shapes panel and choose Import Shapes.
- Locate the
.cshfile you downloaded and click Load. - Your new shapes will now appear in the Custom Shape picker and are ready to use!
Quick Tip: If you don’t see the Custom Shape Tool, right-click (or click and hold) the Shape Tool currently showing in your toolbar to reveal the other shape tools.
Once installed, you can use the shapes just like Photoshop’s built-in shapes — resize them without losing quality, change their color, and combine them with your other design elements.
