Thanks for all the wonderful comments about my Crohns disease. I’ve had this chronic illness for over 15 years now and as horrible as it is and I hate to hear of anyone else having to live with this (or any chronic illness), I feel blessed to have had many years of remission in between flares as well as never having to have a single surgery (yet). The flare I’m in now has been going on since Dec. 1st 2015…I have decent days and bad days but it seems with this flare there’s been more decent days than bad (was even able to go on vacation to Cape Cod for a couple weeks this past June).
